FUN HERMIT CRAB CRAFT AND STORY

Seashell Hermit Crab

Supplies Needed:
- seashells
- glue
- small googly eyes or pompoms
- feathers
- pipe cleaners

Directions:
Use the supplies listed above and other miscellaneous small items to glue onto the shell... and Voilà! You have created your own seashell hermit crab!

Pair your seashell hermit crab with Eric Carle's A House for Hermit Crab, a wonderful story that combines the ocean, friendship, growing, months of the year, and landscaping -- a great story to share with younger children.
