FUN CRAFT: PAPER BAG FISH
after story time @ Main Library
What You Will Need:
- Paper Bag
- Rubber Band
- Crayons or Markers
- Glue
- Yarn, Feathers, Googly Eyes and other embellishments
Directions:
Decorate paper bag using crayons or markers. Grab bag by end and blow in air to “puff” out bag/fish and secure with a rubber band. Use glue to add feather fins, yarn mouth and googly eyes. Or, be creative and use other household craft items to decorate.

TEENS CREATE MINI ROBOTS @ MAIN LIBRARY

Check out the video clips of the mini robots teens made recently at the Main Library. These types of robots are known as "vibrobots" and include the Artbot/Drawbot (made from cups and markers) and the very tiny Bristlebot (made from a toothbrush). Click on the names of each robot for instructions on how to make these @ home. LED lights and motor parts can be found @ Electronics Goldmine.

AUGUST 2ND IS ICE CREAM SANDWICH DAY
This video clip from FamilyFun Magazine shows how to make homemade ice cream in just 5 minutes. It is especially fun to put gloves on and toss the baggies back and forth between two people to make the ice cream.
